This Blog

This is a blog to show off my needlework, mainly crazy quilting, beading and crochet. It makes me happy to create these things and even more happy to share the fun with friends. Pictures of my beading projects are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/37765046@N00/sets/72057594083565963/

Scrap Block, Beaded Sewing Kit, and Socks

As if I need a new project. Yes, crocheted socks! I bought a book last summer in Oregon. I finally bought yarn and here is the beginning.

I can hardly wait to see if they fit when I am finished with them.

Now to update my other two projects:

Here are more motifs on my scrap block. I think I'm going to start the seam embellishments and then see if more motifs are needed. I worked on this during our crazy quilt group meeting today. It is so inspiring and lots of fun to meet with these ladies.

The beaded sewing kit now has the needlebook cover finished and a necklace made for a thread cutter. Stay tuned for pictures.

  1. Hello Bobbi, your stitching is beautiful. Your blog header is also lovely. I especially love your silk ribbon lady. Hugs Judy

  2. Hi Bobbi,
I love the motifs you're using. The horse looks like it might be "stuffed" in the body to make it stand out a little. Could be the way the fabric is laying, but it's a nice effect. This is my first visit to your blog, but it won't be the last!

  3. Thank you, ladies. It is the way the fabric is laying under the horse that makes it look stuffed, but, hey, that's an idea. I'll consider a little trapunto here.
