This Blog

This is a blog to show off my needlework, mainly crazy quilting, beading and crochet. It makes me happy to create these things and even more happy to share the fun with friends. Pictures of my beading projects are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/37765046@N00/sets/72057594083565963/

Projects: Beaded sewing kit and Scrap Crazy Quilt Block

This a rainy, cold day. A good day for working on my two projects, but first I'll show my progress so far.

I finished a pinkeep or radial pincushion for the beaded sewing kit. I followed the pattern in Volume 07, Issue 4 of CQMagOnline by Cindy Thury Smith: http://cqmagonline.com/vol07iss04/articles/860/index.shtml. The keep is 3 inches in diameter.

I've finished three embroidered motifs on the crazy quilted scrap block. I'm remembering how much I enjoy doing them after concentrating on beading for a few months.
Now to walk Glenna. She's bugging me to go.

  1. Your embroidery looks great Bobbi. When I first looked at it, I thought they were machine-embroidered!! And I'm interested to hear what you think of the usefulness of your pinkeep once you finish it. It's really fun having you online!!!
